Incubated successfully by Burgeon Ventures LLC since its inception in Q4, 2014 the council growth and achievements over 2015 and 2016 demanded its own entity and license, which was awarded in 2017 and licensed by the Department Of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi. We operate a council for economic exchanges between the two countries and provide business services.
For us, initial success isn’t enough, sustenance, innovation, and growth which brings real long-term value and true success. At EJMC, we work harder every year to help our clients realize their goals, to bring them more value and to have a positive impact on society.

We Are A Business Council
With over 120 years of experience collectively in its founding members alone. Emirates Japan Marketing Council LLC (EJMC) is a Business Council (Community) providing an array of services such as Advisory, Representation, Business Administration, Business Development, Consultancy, Professional Services and more to its members.
What We Do
The Council core existence serves both Japanese businesses interested in exploring opportunities within the United Arab Emirates as well as to support UAE business activities and interests within Japan. Our team has practical commercial experience in operating in both jurisdictions for more than 20 years
Thus being in a position to guide and advise organizations on reciprocal partners, Government regulations and legislation, labor practices, investments and provide specific industry information. As UAE is known for its oil and gas industry, so Japan is considered a leader in many fields to mention a few like technology, manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, and tourism, which are present areas for engagement between the two countries.

Fahad Al Absi
Chairman - UAE & President
In 2014 Fahad Al Absi established Emirates Japan Marketing Council based in Abu Dhabi and Tokyo, with his partner a renowned businessman Tosh Komamura, CEO of Komamura Corporation. Fahad has 26 years experience with a colorful history and achievements, worked in different governmental semi-government and private industries where he developed his career in Commercial, business development, strategy, value creation, and entrepreneurship, left his last job as a Chief Commercial Officer for an Abu Dhabi based International Manufacturer. Now focusing on EJMC, Successfully launched Da Next Big Thing Symposium in 2018 focused on Research, Innovative companies, and solutions from Japan, establishing stronger collaborations between the UAE and Japan industry. Successfully launched and concluded the first Executive Management Program in partnership with The University Of Tokyo in 2017 - 2018, more evidence to the strength of EJMC community business model, which is built on teamwork, transparency, and trust.
Takeo Segawa
Chairman - JAPAN
Over a short span of only 18yrs, Takeo Segawa is currently serving as CEO of 2 corporations, with a diversified Consultancy portfolio for many more, and is a well-recognized Analyst in the fields of Investment, Asset Liability, Derivatives & Foreign Exchange. Having worked in the Banking sector for a decade with highly reputable establishments, the Mizuho Bank and previously with Fuji Bank, when at the former before his departure, he held the position of Vice President, Director of Yen Asset Liability Management as well as earlier the Vice President of Proprietary Derivatives. Segawa San brings a great deal of knowledge and wealth of experience in Economic and Political Development in Japan, New Technologies, International Trade, Product Sales Investment, research and development, and much more.
